That was something else. I caught the show as it was starting, and all I can say is WOW! It was like every issue, scenario, and apprehension you had mirrored my own feelings. It was good to see someone actually film themselves work thru the decision to find their birth mother. It got emotional for me when you picked up the phone and straight up called her, because you put it all on the line for that chance to connect. I want to be able to do that, but I don't know if I could handle a response like, "stay the hell out of my life"!!
Anyways, I'm glad it all worked out for you, and thank you for laying it out there for everyone to see and learn from.

My family and I would just like to thank you for your fantastic Adoption Special. We adopted our daughter, Grace, from Korea. She just turned 12 years old. We all watched your show together and cried through the whole thing! It was so good for all of us to share in your journey, particularly for Grace. My boyfriend Tom was adopted and was SO TOUCHED by your show on VH1 last
night.  Usually he will change the channel when the programming is related
in any way to adoption.  He was adopted at a very young age and struggles
very much...even at age 39.  He really really loved hearing your story and
he keeps talking about how it truly made him feel better about who he is and
where he came from.  Your new song "Just Like Me" is brilliant and one that
will be played on our household for years to come.  Thank you for sharing
your story and thank you for helping my boyfriend Tom.
